Fred DeMetz
Speaker – Fred DeMetz, Sr., President of Sound Path Technologies
Learn from an expert about a subject that is new to most of us. Fred DeMetz earned BS and MS degrees in engineering and physics from Louisiana State University and a PhD in mechanical engineering an acoustics from the Catholic University of America. He worked for 20 years as a physicist in Navy Research Laboratories and 25 years in companies in California and Texas, designing sonar and seismic sensor systems. He directed system validation testing and sea trials at industry and Navy test facilities, and on US nuclear submarines and US and British aircraft carriers. Most recently, he founded Sound Path Technologies, which provides consulting services and prototype design and testing in acoustics for industry and Navy contractors.
